Also, performed Indoor Air Quality Testing to qualify for LEED IEQc3.2 in lieu of flushing which would have taken two to three months of additional project time once furniture was in place. Provided LEED Enhanced Commissioning (Cx), Building Enclosure Commissioning (BECx), and Performance Verification Testing services of fenestrations for this 150,000 gsf residence hall with 470 beds . Owens House is the first residence hall on the Old Dominion University campus designed to host living-learning communities. It includes two classrooms, project rooms, and ample study space provide plenty of space for students to engage in course-specific work guided by access to professors’ guidance and instruction. Blending this academic space with a learning commons and “great hall” living room encourages the rigorous work of study and inquiry to feed the social fabric of the community. (previous firm)
